October 1, 2024
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CAMBRIDGE – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Brian Riddell has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Cambridge in the next provincial general election.
Since his election as MPP for Cambridge in 2022, Brian has been a strong advocate for his community, drawing on over 30 years of private sector experience in senior management roles and his time as a professor at Conestoga College.
“Brian has been an outstanding representative for Cambridge,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “With his private sector experience and commitment to public service, he’s helped create good-paying jobs, attract key investments and improve infrastructure. Brian has fought hard to keep costs down for families, standing up against the Liberal carbon tax. I know he’ll continue to work tirelessly for the people of Cambridge.”
Together, Brian and the Ontario PC Party will focus on key priorities for Cambridge, including building roads and infrastructure, expanding high-speed internet, attracting investments in the manufacturing sector, and helping get more homes built for families.
“I’m incredibly honoured to represent the people of Cambridge,” said Riddell. “I’m excited to continue building on the progress we’ve made, ensuring Cambridge remains a place where everyone can thrive—with a strong job market, homes people can afford, and an ever-improving quality of life.”
